Microsoft has unveiled it’s Touch Mouse, for Windows 7,which allows you to click, flick, scroll and swipe easily without the need for any buttons. This device has brought gesture control to even those who don’t have a touchscreen. The mouse is available for pre order and would be available by May 2011,for $80.It supports different multi touch gestures, few of gestures shown in the video are pinch to zoom, flicks, panning. It also packs Microsoft’s BlueTrack technology, which means that it could work on carpets, wood, etc.The design looks sexy, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
If you are an Ubuntu + Android user then you got to try this app.
This project sends notifications to a desktop computer when certain events happen on an Android device, such as the phone ringing, an SMS being received, or the battery running low. The notifications can be sent over Wifi, Bluetooth, or (in the future) USB.
It runs as a service on android, consuming little resources while no events are happening, and the desktop application notifies the user about the event in some way (Growl on Mac, Gnome dbus notifications on Linux, Growl for Windows or System tray alert on Windows), including information such as the number that’s calling.
Once intsalled on your Ubuntu and your Android, you can be updated about recent calls, text messages etc, without looking in your phone.
How To Get It ?
Download/install the Android notifier application first.
