DesktopNova is a tray based tool which lets you change desktops from the panel.Similar to one that you have on Windows 7 (that right click thingy).This app is developed by Michael Otto.
How to get it ?
Add ppa:michael-astrapi/ppa to your software sources or open a terminal and run the following command: –
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:michael-astrapi/ppa
The following command will install the required app and indicator: –
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install desktopnova indicator-desktopnova
Next go to Accessories > DesktopNova. Select a folder full of wallpapers and enable the ‘GNOME 0.2′ module,shoot the save button and then ‘start daemon’ button.
Now go to Accessories>DesktopNova tray to start the app.
